Why It Matters
Ageing is inevitable. Fragility is optional.
Many of the factors that influence how we age, including muscle strength, bone health, balance, cardiovascular health and physical resilience, begin to change during midlife. Often these changes happen gradually and can go unnoticed until they start to affect confidence, independence and quality of life.
Many women are aware of the hormonal changes that occur during perimenopause and menopause, but fewer realise the influence that nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management and lifestyle habits can have on both symptoms and long-term health. While HRT can play an important role for many women, it is only one piece of the puzzle.
The good news is that there is a great deal we can do to support our health as we age. The earlier we identify opportunities for improvement, the greater the impact those changes can have on future wellbeing.
The Menopause MOT® is designed to help you better understand your current health, identify areas of strength, highlight opportunities for improvement and provide a clear, personalised roadmap for healthy ageing.
If you would like a clearer understanding of your health and practical guidance on how to stay strong, active and independent in the years ahead, the Menopause MOT® is the perfect place to start.
